Abu Bakr Khan

I am a BIM Specialist and Architect with 5+ years of experience in architectural design, BIM and multidisciplinary project coordination. My experience spans working on large-scale projects from concept design through IFC documentation, with hands-on involvement in developing and managing BIM models up to LOD 400 across Transportation, commercial, educational, and industrial sectors. As a mentor, I bring practical, industry-based guidance in BIM workflows, architectural design development, Revit modeling, documentation standards, coordination practices, and real-world project delivery. My approach combines technical BIM expertise with architectural problem-solving, helping students bridge the gap between academic learning and professional practice. I have hands-on experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, BIM implementation strategies, model management, design documentation, and navigating project stages from early design through execution. I can support students and young professionals seeking guidance in BIM careers, portfolio development, software workflows, industry best practices, project coordination, and transitioning confidently into the AEC industry. Whether you are a student exploring BIM and architecture, a graduate preparing for the industry, or a professional looking to strengthen your technical and coordination skills, I’m happy to share practical insights, career advice, and mentorship based on real project experience. Feel free to connect if you need guidance on BIM, architecture, career development, or professional growth in the AEC field.
