My core area of teaching and academics is Modern Architecture wherein I study and teach the evolution of modern architecture globally and in India. I have 2 NPTEL courses dedicated to each aspect. In my research , I head the Built Environment Lab in my dept. My researchers and scholars research in diverse areas of built environment such as embodied carbon, energy in buildings, mentally resilient environmental studies, development of kinetic facade, digital twins etc.
