I am an architect and interdisciplinary researcher specialising in neuroarchitecture, sustainable design, and restorative built environments. Currently serving as a Research Associate at the Built Environment Laboratory, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, my work focuses on understanding how architectural and urban environments influence cognition, mental well-being, and human behaviour using tools such as EEG, virtual reality (VR), and evidence-based design methodologies. I have done master's in Sustainable Architecture, with research centered on learning environments and cognitive performance. The academic and professional portfolio includes multiple funded research projects supported by agencies such as ANRF/SERB, NBCC, AEEE, and AMRUT, along with publications in internationally indexed journals including Building and Environment and Sustainable Futures. As a new researcher at the intersection of architecture, neuroscience, sustainability, and environmental psychology, I am interested in biophilic design, restorative campus environments, prospect-refuge theory, and health-centred urban design. As a mentor I want to guide emerging architects and researchers in exploring the intersection of design, sustainability, and human well-being, while helping them develop a strong research-driven and evidence-based approach to architecture.
